What a story You’ve written my Lord !
What a story You’ve written !
You Made the Heavens and the earth,
You Knew me before my birth.
You Created the angels for my Help,
More than angels You loved myself.
You Established the angels a little lower than me,
And this, the Lucifer didn’t want to see.
There was a disturbance in the Heaven,
But the archangels stood by You who were seven.
You saw him fall like lightning,
And indeed it was frightening.
He avenged by making me sin,
Because of me he could win.
I was separated from You,
And was no more new.
I continued to sin,
Which made him always win.
You thought of a plan to set me free,
Took the punishment on Yourself,
Suffered ! bled ! & died on the trunk of a tree.
Once again I was new,
This “Good news” was known only to a few.
You planned this “salvation”,
To the ends of the nation.
And once again I was made worthy,
To live for all eternity with thee.
This day You’ve bought fourth Your salvation,
And thus this proclamation.
You sent Your Son – Jesus,
To finally free us.
Now I have a good news to tell,
About Your gift on this day of “Noel”.
